Kendall County State’s Attorney Eric Weis announced that David Garner (dob: 03-14-1990, 8750 S. Dauphin Ave, Apt 1d) of Chicago, was sentenced to 6 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections by the Honorable Robert Pilmer for multiple deliveries of methamphetamine. Weis stated that Garner had been investigated by the Kendall County Cooperative Police Assistance Team since July of 2017 up until his arrest in December of last year. During that time, the defendant delivered methamphetamine to an undercover police officer on several occasions. Weis commented that Kendall County has seen an increase in methamphetamine related offenses in the last year. More and more individuals are coming from the Chicago area to try to sell heroin. KCPAT has been doing their part to insure that those who bring meth into Kendall County are investigated and prosecuted. Garner will need to serve three years of mandatory supervised release upon his discharge from prison.
