Oswego Memorial Day Parade Returns for 2016

May 24, 2016 10:12PM ● By Steven Jack
One of Oswego's longest running traditions will return Monday, May 30.

The Oswego American Legion Post #675 Memorial Day parade will step off at 10 a.m. and will start at the District 308 Center on Franklin Street and wind its way through the downtown on Polk to Jackson Street; Jackson to Monroe to Jefferson to Main Street; and end at the Oswego Township Cemetery.

As usual, parade-goers are encouraged to follow the parade to its conclusion at the Oswego Township Cemetery for a solemn memorial service provided by the Legion.

If you're looking for other local Memorial Day events, check out the Aurora parade that starts at noon in the downtown. Find more information here.

In Montgomery, the Montgomery Memorial VFW Post 7452 will host their annual ceremony at 11 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery.
