Oswego Spring Recycling Event Set for Saturday

Recycle what you don't need at the Spring ECO Commission Reuse & Recycle Extravaganza scheduled for Saturday, April 23.

The event is set for 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Oswego Public Works Facility, 100 Theodore Dr.

Accepted items include bicycles, books, clothing, electronics, eyeglasses, keys, lawn mowers, LCD/LED/Plasma televisions, packing materials, polystyrene. scrap metal, school supplies, suitcases, toys and more. You can also exchange used books, videotapes, CDs and DVDs.

Please note: Tube televisions and latex paints will NOT be accepted this year.

This event is made possible with the help of volunteers. To volunteer, call 630.551.2343 or email at Volunteering at the Extravaganza is a great way to help the community. Volunteers should be middle school age and older.
