Aurora Police are continuing to ask the public for assistance in locating a missing 15 year old girl who is intellectually delayed and has been missing since 11 p.m. Sunday.

Jaclyn White was discovered missing by her family around 9:30 Monday morning, March 21, from her home in the 500 block of Jackson Street, Aurora.

Jaclyn is African American, 5’8” and weighs about 170 pounds. It is not known for sure what she was wearing when she went missing but her family said she probably had on jeans and blue, flat shoes with gold studs and was wearing a pink backpack.

Aurora Police are working with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and Montgomery Police in their search efforts.. Numerous tips of reported sightings have been investigated by police, but none have led to Jaclyn’s whereabouts.

Late Tuesday night, investigators received a call saying that around 9:20 a.m. Monday, a girl fitting Jaclyn’s description was seen getting into an older model brown sedan in the area of Routes 30 and 25 over the Fox River in Montgomery.

The driver of the car was described as a white male who appeared to be thin. The vehicle was similar to a Buick from the 1990’s. It was last seen eastbound on Route 30.

Anyone who may come across her or has information on Jaclyn's whereabouts is asked to call Aurora Police Investigations at 630-256-5500 or 911.
