Positions Open on Oswego Commissions

The Oswego Historic Preservation Commission (HPC), the Environmentally Conscious Oswego Commission (ECO), and the Cultural Arts Commission all seek applications for vacant positions.
The Oswego Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) is currently accepting applications from Oswego residents for three positions. Experience in preservation, architecture, history, planning, real estate, construction or a similar background is recommended for the HPC.
The Oswego Environmentally Conscious Oswego Commission and the Cultural Arts Commission are also accepting applications from Oswego residents for one position each.
The function of the Environmentally Conscious Oswego (ECO) Commission is to protect and improve today’s environment for the future by providing education to the community on environmental issues, by educating and involving Oswego’s leadership on environmental issues and opportunities, by increasing conservation practices through hands-on activities, and by reviewing Village environmental ordinances and contracts in order to suggest areas of improvement.
The Cultural Arts Commission’s roll is to establish, initiate, sponsor, organize, and promote cultural and artistic programs and services for the enrichment and enjoyment of the Oswego community.
