Members of the Oswego Outlaws 11U GG/GV pose with the posters they made in support of Oswego Police in the lobby of the Police Department.

As a show of appreciation, softball players from the Oswego Outlaws 11U GG/GV team recently delivered survival bags, cookies and posters to the Oswego Police Department.

The 66 bags for all department staff included:
  • "Lifesavers for all of the times they have been one.
  • Starbursts for the burst of energy that they need.
  • Hershey kisses to show our love for them.
  • Gum because we all have to stick together.
  • Tootsie rolls because they have to roll with the punches.
  • Peppermint patty to help them keep their cool.
  • Snickers to help them keep their humor and
  • Mounds for the mounds of courage they show."
After delivering the packages, the girls were given a tour of the police facility, including holding areas, training rooms and police vehicles.

Way to go, Outlaws!
