Mar 12, 2016 03:36PM ● By Steven Jack

Oswego Police have arrested a man they say exposed himself twice in the past two weeks to female joggers in the village.

Christopher Assmar, 33, of the 300 block of Orange Street in Yorkville, was arrested Friday after allegedly exposing himself to another woman near Bloomfield Circle East and Colchester Drive at about 1 p.m. Friday, according to Oswego Police Spokeswoman Cathy Nevara. Assmar originally stopped the woman under the pretense of asking for directions, Nevara said.

Upon investigation, Assmar's description matched the same one given during a similar incident that occurred Feb. 28 at  Liszka Lane and Linden Drive. Police caught up with Assmar at his home in Yorkville at about 5:45 p.m. Friday, Nevara said.

Assmar was taken to the Kendall County Jail for a bond hearing Saturday morning, where a Kendall County Judge set his bond at  $10,000.

Police are continuing to investigate these incidents, and anyone who may be able to provide further information should call 630-551-7300 or 630-553-5999.
