Several Cars Broken Into Around Oswego: Police

Christopher Garza, 32, of Hobart, Ind. was arrested for DUI at about 12:15 a.m. March 6 near Douglas and Old Post roads, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. He was originally pulled over for speeding, the sheriff's office said.
Jon Fixmer, 49, of 266 Isleview Drive, was arrested for DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at about 11:50 p.m. March 5 near Morgan Valley Drive and Danbury Drive, according to an Oswego Police report.
Joan Anderson, 76, of 301 Canterbury Court, was arrested for DUI at about 8:45 p.m. March 5 near her home, according to an Oswego Police report.
A resident of the 700 block of Bohannon reported they were the victim of a fraud at about 12:30 p.m. March 4, according to an Oswego Police report. The victim was taken for about $1,800, Oswego Police said.
Christopher Blomquist, 44, was arrested for domestic battery at about 2 a.m. March 3 at his home in the 100 block of Bereman Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report.
A resident of the 100 block of Harbor Drive reported that two lights were taken from his vehicle sometime before 7:30 p.m. March 2, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report.
Residents of the 100 block of Circle Drive West reported that two of their vehicles were broken into and several items taken sometime overnight March 1, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. The sheriff's office said both vehicles were left unlocked. A resident in the 0-99 block of Fieldcrest Drive also reported her unlocked car was broken into.
Similarly, the Oswego Police are investigating two car break-ins in the area that occurred at about the same time frame. A resident in the 0-99 block of Sedgewick reported about $103 in items taken from an unlocked car while another resident reported about $180 items stolen from a vehicle parked in the 0-99 block of Brockway.
Oswego Police took a report of a theft from the BP Station at Route 34 and Orchard Road at about noon March 1. According to police, someone stole $300 off a countertop in the store. No suspect information was provided by police.
