Man Exposes Himself to Jogger: Police

Feb 28, 2016 06:47AM ● By Steven Jack
Oswego Police are searching for a man that exposed himself to a female jogger Saturday afternoon.

According to police spokeswoman Cathy Nevara, the woman was jogging on Cotoneaster Court at about 3 p.m. when a man driving an older model red SUV asked her for directions. After giving the man directions, the woman saw the same vehicle stopped at Liszka Lane and Linden Drive. The man again motioned to the woman for help, but this time he exposed himself, police said.

During their investigation police learned that two children had also seen the vehicle at Linden Drive and Hemlock Lane at about the same time, and that the man also had called out to them. The children told police they ignored the man. The children also said they witnessed the incident with the woman.

Last seen driving south on Juniper Street, the man is described as a male, white, in his early 20s with medium shoulder length brown, straight hair, possibly brown eyes, a skinny build, wearing a neon-yellow colored construction type sweatshirt with long sleeves.
The vehicle
is described as an older model red SUV, four door style, including a rear spare tire with no cover. Both the jogger and the children reported seeing a piece of lumber in the man’s vehicle.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Oswego Police at 630-551-7300.
