The 17th annual Downtown Oswego Bunny Hop is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19, along Main and Washington streets.
All children are invited to BYOB (bring your own basket) and collect treats from participating shops.
Maps will be sold for a nominal $1 fee per participating child. Maps are available at Page's Popcorn Lil' Emms Boutique and The Garden Faire. The $1 fee will allow downtown businesses to offer more family friendly events downtown all year. Each participating child must have a map.
The Bunny Hop begins at 10 a.m. with the arrival of the Easter Bunny via firetruck at The Garden Faire. From there, children are invited to visit with live bunnies, take a photo with the Easter Bunny and mingle with the River the Fox mascot as they make their way from shop to shop.
After the hop, all maps should be returned to Page's Popcorn, Lil’ Emm’s,, or The Garden Faire with a name and phone number to enter a drawing for one of two giant Easter Baskets (1boy/1girl) donated by the downtown businesses.
