Cash, Gun Stolen in Business Burglary

Lauren Richard, 22, of Plainfield, was arrested for domestic battery at about 10:15 p.m. Feb. 14 near Parkers Mill and Washington Street, according to an Oswego Police report. The victim in the incident was injured, police said.
Jazirae Strong, 39, of 317 Barnaby Drive, was arrested for DUI at about 10:45 p.m. Feb. 13 near Winrock and Heathgate roads, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. Strong was observed committing several traffic violations, the sheriff's office said.
Thomas Plunkett, 23, of Oswego, was arrested for speeding at about 12:40 a.m. Feb. 13 near Route 126 and Old Grove Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. Plunkett was clocked driving 93 mph in a 55 mph zone, the sheriff's office said.
Jason Scholtz, 25, of 3027 Hoffman St., was arrested for DUI, speeding and failure to signal at about 1:20 a.m. Feb. 12 near Routes 34 and 30, according to an Oswego Police report.
Dennis Osborne, 41, of Aurora, was arrested on two counts of domestic battery at about 8:50 a.m. Feb. 12, near Route 30 and Fifth Street, according to an Oswego Police report.
Michael Dady, 25, of Aurora, was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage at about 1:30 a.m. Feb. 11, according to an Oswego Police report.
Cash, gun stolen in burglary
The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is investigating a burglary that occurred at a business in the 500 block of Route 31 sometime between midnight and 2 a.m. Feb. 11. According to the sheriff's office, electronics, money and a rifle were reported stolen. There are currently no suspects in the case, the sheriff's office said.
Car broken into
Oswego Police are investigating a car break-in that occurred at about 9:30 p.m. Feb. 10 in the 500 block of Lincoln Station Drive. According to police, about $450 worth of items were stolen from the unlocked vehicle.
Elbert Phillips, 26, of Aurora, was arrested for DUI at about 2:10 a.m. near Route 34 and Pearces Ford Road, according to an Oswego Police report.
Car windows damaged
Oswego Police are investigating an incident of two car windows that were smashed sometime before 8 a.m. Feb. 8 in the 600 block of Avon Court. There are no suspects in the case, police reported.
