Three juveniles are facing charges after an anonymous Crimestoppers tip alerted the Kendall County Sheriff's Office to their involvement in several damaged vehicles last summer.

According to Sheriff's Office Spokesman Deputy Mike Mrozek, two 14-year-old boys from Oswego and another 13-year-old boy from Aurora are responsible for vulgar words and images carved into several vehicles in the parking lot of the Light Road Shore Heights Apartments on July 1.

Acting on the anonymous tip, sheriff's deputies obtained charges against the boys in December, and each is charged with criminal damage to property, a Class A misdemeanor.

Anyone with information on other crimes is urged to call Kendall County Crime Stoppers at (630) 553-5999.  Callers remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the offenders.
