Tiny Mites  Oswego Bears vs Stickney Wolfpack
The Tiny Mite team made some fantastic group tackles and worked well together throughout the game.  Some standout plays were made by Nolan Robertson who came out strong making some amazing blocks and tackles throughout the game keeping the Stickney Wolves at bay.  Dominic Batista scored the season’s first touchdown on a quarterback sneak from the 50 yard line.  Zachary Gilson, Kashton Wilson and Jonah Zukauskas progressed the Bears several yards running the ball.  Matthew Odefey made some key tackles to keep Stickney from scoring.
Mitey Mite:  Oswego Bears 0 – Genoa Mighty Cogs 0
Mitey Mites (2) had a great defensive battle between two good teams.   The defensive line led by Brodie Slou, Chayse Adams, James Lemos and Brenden Bisgrove  did an outstanding job keeping Genoa off the scoreboard.   With an interception by Logan Stabb and team tackling, they were able to put an end to all Genoa drives.
Mitey Mite:  Oswego Bears 6 – Plainfield 2  35
Matt Gandy had a 60 yard kickoff return for a touchdown with some great blocking by Caleb Yanos. We had some great team efforts and look forward to a better result next week against Hampshire.

Oswego Bears Junior Pee Wee team defeated Stickney Wolfpack 13-6. Oswego jumped out to a quick lead when Jackson Gillen scored on the first play from scrimmage on a 65 yard Touchdown. Oswego defense didn't let up a first down in the first half led by MLB Colin Rowe. The Bears defense played great all day led by DE Chris Dicosola. In the 2nd quarter the Bears scored for a second time on Tyler Bibbs 40 yard TD run and Bibbs ran in the extra point. The second half was back and forth, but the Bears defense continued to shut down the Wolf pack with Chase Gerwig, Matt Rodarte, Kian Triplett & Noah Dial not letting them move the ball. It was a great team effort for the Oswego Bears and a great way to start the season.
