Several Oswego Police and Kendall County Sheriff's deputies responded to the 300 block of Barnaby Saturday night for a report of a man wielding a knife. While that reported turned out to be unfounded, police said, a resident was arrested for sending a threatening text message.
An Oswego man was arrested three times in one day over the weekend, according to Oswego Police reports.
Kamil Pach, 19, was first arrested at about 10:15 a.m. Saturday after a a hit and run accident near Route 34 and Mason Square Drive, police said. Charges from that incident include leaving the scene of an accident, driving while license suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol by a minor, police said.
At about 7:45 p.m., and after Pach was released on a personal recognizance bond, police were called to his home in the 300 block of Barnaby for a report of a man wielding a knife.
Those reports turned out to be unfounded, said police spokeswoman Cathy Nevara; however, Pach was charged with harassment by electronic communications for sending a threatening text message.
After Pach was released again on another recognizance bond, police were again called to the home for a domestic battery report at about 11:30 p.m.. Pach was arrested for domestic battery, criminal damage to property and violation of a bail bond.
Due to the nature of the final charges, Pach was then taken to the Kendall County Jail, Nevara said. According to online court documents, Pach will next appear in court Sept. 14.
