The Quilters Dozen Quilting Club of Oswego has donated $400 each to the Little White School Museum and to the Oswegoland Park District from the proceeds of their annual PrairieFest Quilt Raffle held in June.

The museum will use the funds to preserve and protect their collections, while the park district will use their gift to defray the costs of PrairieFest, Oswegoland’s annual community festival.

Quilting club treasurer Sue Matile presented the check to Little White School Museum Assistant Director Bob Stekl and the Oswegoland Park District’s Cindy Benson on Aug. 6.

The Quilters Dozen meets Thursdays to quilt at the museum, 72 Polk Street (Polk at Jackson) in Oswego. For more information, contact the Quilters Dozen at 630-554-8755 or 630-896-3352; the museum at 630-554-1010 or by emailing; or the park district at 630-554-1010.
