The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is investigating a stolen vehicle that was dumped and set on fire Wednesday near Oswego.

According to a sheriff's office report, deputies were called to the 2000 block Roth Road at about 2:15 p.m. for a report of a fully involved vehicle fire. No one was in the vehicle, and the sheriff's office later discovered that the car had been reported stolen out of Maywood.

The fire was quickly extinguished by Oswego Fire Protection District firefighters, and no injuries were reported, said Battalion Chief Jeff Warren.

The sheriff's office said there are currently no suspects in the case.
