Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Saturday Night Accident at Route 30 and Orchard

Montgomery Police are asking for the public's help in investigating an accident from Saturday night at the intersection of Route 30 and Orchard Road. 

According to police, a 56-year-old woman was seriously injured after being struck by a car as she walked in the area of the intersection at about 9:35 p.m. 

The pedestrian received serious injuries and was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center for treatment. The incident closed a portion of the intersection for several hours as police conducted an investigation. 

Neither the pedestrian nor the driver have been named, and no citations have been issued, police said.
