Oswego Memorial Day Parade Returns for 2015

May 20, 2015 08:20PM ● By Steven Jack

The 2014 Oswego Memorial Day winds its way through downtown.

One of Oswego's longest running traditions will return Monday.

The Oswego American Legion Post #675 Memorial Day parade will step off at 10 a.m. and will wind its way through the downtown on Franklin, Garfield, Jefferson and Main streets.

As usual, parade-goers are encouraged to follow the parade to its conclusion at the Oswego Township Cemetery on Main Street for a solemn memorial service provided by the Legion.

If you're looking for other local Memorial Day events, check out the Aurora parade that starts at noon in the downtown. Find more information here.

In Montgomery, the Montgomery Memorial VFW Post 7452 will host their annual ceremony at 11 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery.
