Sheriff Investigating Shots Fired on Sunday Night

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is investigating an incident of shots fired late Sunday evening. According to a sheriff's office report, shots were fired at about 10:30 p.m. on Woodridge between Pembrook and Circle Drive East in Boulder Hill. When deputies arrived they discovered a window of a nearby vehicle had been shot out. No one was injured in the incident, and no suspect information is available.
Drew Anderson, 26, of 303 Barnaby, was arrested for domestic battery at about 12:30 a.m. April 19 at his home, according to an Oswego Police report.
Juan Cantu, 43, of Tromball, Texas, was arrested for DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and speeding at about 11:50 p.m. April 17 at Douglas Road and Old Post, according to an Oswego Police report.
A 17-year-old boy from Aurora was arrested for retail theft, marijuana possession and possession of alcohol by a minor at about 12:45 a.m. April 16 at the Oswego Walmart, according to an Oswego Police report.
Stephanie Stellman, 24, of 137 Linden Drive, was arrested for DUI at about 1:20 a.m. April 15 at Route 34 and Douglas Road, according to an Oswego Police report.
Window smashed during family fight
Daniel Fitzpatrick, 20, of 116 Rickard Drive, Oswego Township, was arrested for criminal damage to property, marijuana possession, underage drinking, drug paraphernalia possession and resisting arrest at about 1:50 a.m. April 15 near his home, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Deputies were called to the home for a report of a domestic fight in which Fitzpatrick allegedly shattered a window. Before deputies arrived, Fitzpatrick had fled the scene, but was located in a neighboring backyard, the sheriff’s office said.
Ricardo Ventura, 19, of Aurora, was arrested for DUI and underage drinking at about 3 a.m. April 14 in the 0-99 block of Circle Drive East. His passenger, Josue Ortiz, 19, of 57 Circle Drive East, was arrested for underage drinking and unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Deputies were called to the scene for a report of loud music playing. When they arrived they found Ventura asleep behind the wheel, the sheriff’s office said.
Friend steals electronics
A resident in the 2300 block of Light Road reported a friend stole about $500 worth of electronics from his home sometime before 11 a.m. April 13. The friend then allegedly sold the merchandise at a local pawn shop, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office said.
