Learning a foreign language is so important in our global world market. Every year students from Oswego (OHS) and Oswego East (OEHS) high schools participate in the UIC German High School Day Competition. This is an opportunity to compete in poetry recitation, skits, city guides, and so much more.
This year a total of five students attended:
From OHS: Erik Lenertz, Katrina Katz, Jacob Foster
From OEHS: Brittany Allgaier, Shivani Sharma
The competition this year was fierce. All students did a phenomenal job and represented the district well. These are all very talented, determined and hard-working students who put in countless hours of preparation. They should feel very accomplished. Students also had the opportunity to meet with the dignitaries that were present. Congratulations on a job well done!
