Woman Charged with Stalking in Oswego Township

A Plainfield woman was charged with two felony counts of stalking earlier this month, said the Kendall County Sheriff's Office. 

On Aug. 24 deputies took a report from a woman in the 2000 block of Wolf Road in Oswego Township who said she had been receiving numerous harassing and threatening voice mails and text messages from an acquaintance. The woman also said that her home had been placed under surveillance by the acquaintance, the sheriff's office said.

After an investigation, Monica Aguilar, 45, of Plainfield was charged on Feb. 3 with stalking, a Class 4 felony, and cyberstalking, also a class 4 felony, the sheriff's office said.

Aguilar’s bond was set at $10,000, with 10 percent to apply.
