Police continue to investigate the murder of a Chicago man about one month ago.

When asked this week if there were any leads or suspects in the Dec. 18 shooting near Montgomery Road and Fourth Avenue, Montgomery Police Chief Daniel Meyers would only say that the investigation is still active.

"(We are still asking) for anyone with information to please call Crime Stoppers or the Montgomery Police Department," he said.

Jesus Garcia Jr. 28, of the 4700 block of North Kildare Ave., in Chicago, was gunned down after multiple shots were fired at about 6 p.m.
