Juvenile Hospitalized After Drinking: Police

Underage drinking leads to hospitalization
A 14- and 15-year old juvenile were charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor at about 2:20 a.m. Jan. 10 after Kendall County Sheriff's Deputies were called to a home in the 0-99 block of Settlers Lane, Na-Au-Say Township, for a report of a juvenile vomiting after drinking alcohol. The juvenile was taken to Rush Copley Medical Center for treatment, the sheriff's office said.
Kendall County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a theft of a shotgun and iPad from a home in the 0-99 block of Pembrooke Road in Oswego Township that occurred sometime before 8:20 p.m. Jan 9. There are suspects in the case, the sheriff's office said.
Icy road crash
A 36-year-old Aurora woman was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center after a sign-car accident at about 8:45 a.m. Jan. 9 near Route 34 and Rickard Drive, according to an Oswego Police report. Police said the woman lost control of her car and struck a guardrail after sliding on ice.
A male juvenile was charged with driving with a suspended license, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 5:30 p.m. Jan. 8 at the Route 30 Bypass and Fifth Ave, according to Oswego Police.
Deandre Williams, 20, of 78 Sonora Drive, Oswego Township was charged with domestic battery at about 2:45 p.m. Jan. 7 at his home, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report.
Jalin Daniels, 20, of Aurora was charged with marijuana possession at about 5:30 a.m. Jan 8 near Fernwood and Pendleton in Oswego Township, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Daniels was originally stopped for disobeying a stop sign.
Marijuana delivery warrant
Stephen Mercado, 22, of 500 block of Bent Tree Court, Oswego was charged on an outstanding warrant for unlawful delivery of marijuana at about 1:45 a.m. Jan. 8 at Route 34 and Chesterfield, according to an Oswego Police report.
Christopher Heraty, 24,of the 100 block of Preakness, was charged with domestic battery, interfering with the reporting of a domestic battery and criminal damage to state supported property at about 10:20 p.m. Jan 7 at his home, according to an Oswego Police report. He was taken to the Kendall County Jail.
A 12- and 13-year-old juvenile were charged with disorderly conduct at about 1:30 p.m. Jan. 6 in the 0-99 block of Franklin Street, according to an Oswego Police report.
