ADOPT ME: Bosco Has Lots of Love to Give

Jan 02, 2015 01:39PM ● By Steven Jack

Bosco is a sweet and loving 10-month old Hound mix, and weighs around 65 pounds.

He’s just a very kind boy looking for a family to love him back. He is crate-trained and house broken. Bosco loves all people and would do best in a home with no dogs or a larger dog that is willing to put Bosco’s puppy exhuberance in its place..

He wants to play with the cats but sometimes can get a little rough with them, but it is all in play. Bosco is a big, growing boy, and will get a little bigger by the time he is an adult. Kind of clumsy at times, with those long legs and huge paws, still trying to maneuver his long and lanky body.

Bosco knows how to catch, and his favorite toys are just about anything. He loves squeaky toys, Nylabones, hard or rubber bones, and will pull out almost every toy from the toy boxes until he finds the right one for the moment!

Even though Bosco is a big boy, he’s really a big ole baby, looking for love and affection. He responds well to positive corrections that include hugs and kisses and belly rubs. It’s very easy to melt when he looks at you with those big ole droopy eyes, his long droopy ears and that big rubbery nose! He would really love if he gets adopted to a home with a fenced yard so he can get some good exercise.

Bosco is laid back and of medium energy, and walks pretty well on a leash. He just loves when we have company and enjoys meeting new people. He is a good boy as a passenger on car rides too.

Bosco is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and comes with a certificate for free micro-chipping and registration. Bosco’s adoption fee is $200 (cash or check). To find out more about Bosco to see if he is a fit for our family, please contact his foster mom, Denise, at 630-554-5822.
