Ulta Store Reports Over $1,400 in Stolen Perfume: Police

Employees of Prairie Point Elementary School reported damage to several items of playground equipment that occurred sometime before 7:45 a.m. Dec. 22, according to an Oswego Police report. No damage estimate was given.
Benjamin Grant, 23, of 659 Lincoln Station Drive, was charged with domestic battery at about 8:45 p.m. Dec. 20 at his home, according to an Oswego Police report. He was taken to the Kendall County Jail.
Cynthia Olson, 49, of the 700 block of Churchill Lane, was charged with retail theft at about 3:50 p.m. Dec. 20 at a store in the 2500 block of Route 34, according to an Oswego Police report. She is alleged to have stolen about $50 in merchandise, police said.
Oswego Police responded to the Oswego Ulta store at about 8 p.m. Dec. 20 for a report of a theft that had occurred. According to police, several bottles of perfume were stolen. The perfume is valued at about $590. Police received a similar report the previous day in which about $900 worth of perfume was stolen.
High school drinking arrests
Four juveniles were charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor at about 7 p.m. Dec. 19 at Oswego East High School, according to an Oswego Police report.
Theft to vehicle
Oswego Police responded to a home in the 100 block of River Run Court at about 8:30 a.m. Dec. 19 for a report of a vehicle that was broken into. According to police, the owner of the vehicle was visiting from out of town and had left her car unlocked. Missing was the woman’s purse. The purse was later found in a nearby trash can with cash and several gift cards reported stolen.
Nicole Spadafino, 36, of the 200 block of Foster Drive, Oswego, was charged with domestic battery at about 10:45 p.m. Dec. 19 at her home, according to an Oswego Police report. She was taken to the Kendall County Jail.
Disorderly conduct at OHS
Two 15-year-old boys from Montgomery were charged with disorderly conduct on Dec. 19 at Oswego High School, according to an Oswego Police report.
Rock through car window
A resident in the 700 block of Manhattan Circle, Oswego, reported a rock thrown through their car window at about midnight Dec. 19, according to an Oswego Police report. Damage is estimated at $500.
A 15-year-old girl was charged with theft at about 11:30 a.m. Dec. 18 at Oswego East High School, according to Oswego Police. The girl was found to be in possession of several items that did not belong to her, police said.
Weapon possession at junior high
Oswego Police took a report for an unlawful possession of a weapon at Plank Junior High at about noon Dec. 19. No arrests were made, and police did not report what kind of weapon was found.
A resident of the 200 block of Fox Chase Drive reported her car was broken into sometime before 4 p.m. Dec. 17. Reported stolen was a tablet valued at about $250, police said.
Fatmir Salu, 43, of the 200 block of Wildwood Drive Oswego, was charged with domestic battery at about 5:20 p.m. Dec. 19 at his home, according to an Oswego Police report. He was taken to the Kendall County Jail.
Several cars in the 100 block of Krisine were broken into sometime before 7 a.m. Dec. 18, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Several items, including credit cards, cash and cigarettes, were reported stolen, police said.
