Let Oswego’s Little White School Museum help you get in the Christmas spirit with their free, annual Christmas Decorations, Victorian Style free family make and take craft activity on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 13-14.

Area residents are invited to participate in the fun from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. both days.

Kids age 3 and up and their parents are invited to participate in this popular annual event. Visitors will be invited to make traditional and Victorian-themed holiday decorations to take home. These handmade treasures are sure to add a special touch to everyone’s holiday celebration.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. No pre-registration is required; just stop in any time either afternoon.

After your hand-made Victorian holiday treasure is complete, be sure to visit the museum’s seasonal “Toys from the Attic” exhibit, which opened Dec. 4.

For this year’s exhibit, museum manager Tina Heidrich has combed the museum’s collections to find a fascinating collection of seldom-seen toys, games and holiday cards that once made Christmas such a special holiday for area families during the late 19th and early 20th centuries in Oswego. The exhibit will extend through January.

Regular museum hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free, but donations are always gratefully accepted.
