Pricey Baseball Bats Stolen: Police

An Oswego woman reported she had her wallet stolen while at Edward Immediate Care near Route 34 and Orchard Road at about 5:20 p.m. Nov. 22, according to an Oswego Police report. The wallet and its contents are valued at about $300.
Perla Gaytan, 22, of Sugar Grove, was charged with DUI and illegal transportation of alcohol at about 3 a.m. Nov. 23 near Route 34 and Ogden Falls Boulevard, according to an Oswego Police report.
Melissa Walsh, 35 of the 700 block of Norway, Oswego, was charged with battery at about 10:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at Arbor Lane and Norway Place, according to an Oswego Police report.
DUI, false information to police
Patrick Barkdoll, 23, of Plano was charged with DUI and providing false information to police after a single-vehicle crash at about 11:30 p.m. Nov. 21 in the 3000 block of Route 126, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report.
Oswego Police are investigating a possible case of perjury that occurred during a municipal adjudication hearing at about 5 p.m. Nov. 20 at Village Hall. No other information was available regarding the case.
Student with drug paraphernalia
A 16-year-old Montgomery boy was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Nov. 21 at Oswego East High School, according to an Oswego Police report.
An Oswego woman reported the theft of two mobile phones while she was at a business in the 4500 block of Route 71 at about 1:50 p.m. Nov. 20, according to an Oswego Police report. The value of the phones was estimated at $1,400.
DUI, car fire
Russell Losasso, 46, of Westmont, was charged with DUI at about 9 p.m. Nov. 19 after a single-vehicle accident at Stewart and Scotch roads near Oswego, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Sheriff’s deputies reported Losasso’s car was on fire when they arrived.
Vermain Schaefer-Carrington, 18, of Aurora, was charged with retail theft at about 7 p.m. Nov. 19 at a business in the 2300 block of Route 34, according to an Oswego Police report. He is alleged to have stolen about $390 worth of merchandise, police said.
Baseball bats stolen
Oswego Police are investigation the theft of two baseball bats from Dick’s Sporting Goods sometime before 3:35 p.m. Nov. 17. According to police, the bats are valued at a total of $700.
Konnor Botka, 20, of 0-99 block of Sedgwick Road, Oswego, was charged with battery, resisting a police officer and unlawful use of intoxicating compounds after a fight at about 9:20 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 0-99 block of Cordurus Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report.
