An Oswego man is facing two felony charges in connection with shots fired in Oswego Township earlier this year.
Multiple residents in the 100 block of Dolores Street reported hearing shots fired on Feb. 26, but no damages or injuries were found at that time, according to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff’s Detectives began an investigation and identified Alfredo Soto, 47, of Oswego as a suspect. According to the Sheriff's Office, detectives also learned of a second, previously unreported shooting incident involving Soto from 2013 in the same location.
He was taken into custody by the Aurora Police Department on Nov. 8 and charged with two felony counts of reckless discharge of a firearm.
Soto's bond was set at $20,000, and he remains in custody at the Kendall County Jail pending his next court appearance.
