Running Car Stolen from Gas Station: Police

Paul Kennelly, 51, of 401 Manchester Road, Oswego, was charged with DUI and failure to signal at about 7 p.m. at Aug. 23 at Salem Circle near Heritage Drive, according to an Oswego Police report.
Damage to property
David Lewis, 34, of Aurora, was charged with criminal damage to property at about 9 a.m. Aug. 23 at 2013 Farmington Lakes Drive, according to an Oswego Police report.
iPhone stolen at Panther Fest
An Oswego woman reported that her son had his iPhone 5 stolen from his backpack while he attended Panther Fest at about 8 p.m. Aug. 22 at Oswego High School. The phone is valued at $200.
Timothy Rich, 24, of Aurora, was charged with DUI, improper lane usage and not having valid insurance at about 1:30 a.m. Aug. 22 near routes 34 and 71, according to an Oswego Police report.
Car stolen from gas station
An Oswego Township man reported that his car was stolen from the Kick 66 gas station at about 11:50 p.m. Aug. 21 after he left it running and went into the station, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s report. The vehicle was located a short time later in the parking lot of 1100 Light Road. Only a few minutes before the theft another Oswego Township man was the victim of a battery during a verbal altercation at the same location. Both incidents are under investigation, the sheriff’s office said.
Alyssa Faulkner, 20, of Aurora, was charged with marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession at about midnight Aug. 20 on Route 34 in Oswego Township, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Faulkner was originally stopped for speeding, the sheriff’s office said.
Battery at OHS
A 16-year-old Oswego girl was charged with battery at about 8:20 a.m. Aug. 19 at Oswego High School, according to an Oswego Police report.
A 23-year-old Boulder Hill woman reported the theft of more than $500 worth of items from her home in the 0-99 block of Hampton Road sometime before 6 p.m. Aug. 19, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. There are suspects in the case, the sheriff’s office said.
