One person was sent to Rush-Copley Medical Center after a roll-over accident on Route 34 Thursday morning.

According to Oswego Police Capt. Jeff Burgner, a woman was traveling west on Route 34 at about 10:10 a.m. and attempted to turn left on to Fifth Street.

She collided in the intersection with a semi truck traveling east on Route 34. The force of the crash flipped the woman’s car on its side, trapping her inside.

Oswego Fire Protection District personnel arrived on the scene a short time later and were able to extricate the woman. She was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries, Burgner said.

The semi driver was not injured, according to Burgner.
