Suicidal Threats Lead to Obstruction Charges: Police

Criminal Damage to Property
A resident in the 200 block of Fox Chase Drive North reported to Oswego Police that someone damaged his property at about 6:20 p.m. June 27. The damage was estimated at about $750.
Oswego Police are investigating the theft of a wooden bridge stolen from the 100 block of Eisenhower Drive sometime before 5 p.m. June 26. The value of the bridge was placed at about $150.
Andrea Hannaford, 23, was charged with DUI at about 1:30 a.m. June 26 at Orchard Road and Lewis Street, according to an Oswego Police report. She was given an Aug. 5 court date.
Drew Anderson, 25, of 88 Hillstone Rod, in Oswego Township was charged with resisting and obstructing a police officer after Kendall County Sheriff’s officers were called to his home at about 12:45 a.m. June 25 for a report of a man making suicidal threats. When deputies arrived they found a domestic dispute in progress, and Anderson became uncooperative and combative, reports said.
Two juveniles were charged with retail theft after trying to steal about $70 worth of merchandise from Walmart at about 9 p.m. June 25, according to an Oswego Police report.
Business Tagged with Gang Graffiti
A business in the 6925 block of Route 71 was tagged with gang graffiti sometime before 9 a.m. June 24, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office report. The graffiti caused about $100 in damages.
Rickey Willis, 45, of Naperville, was charged with DUI, possession of marijuana and improper lane usage at about 10:30 p.m. June 23 at Orchard and Budlong roads, according to Oswego Police. He was given a July 21 court date.
Bradley Stanley, 29, of Bristol was charged with burglary and theft at about 4 a.m. June 23 after he was seen acting suspiciously at a business in the 0-99 block of Buell Road, Oswego, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office report. Yorkville Police and sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene and found Stanley a short distance away in his car. Stanley was stopped and his car was searched, revealing the stolen items, the sheriff’s office said.
Falontae, Buie, of 479 Silvercharm Drive, Oswego, was charged with possession of marijuana at about 2 a.m. June 24 at her home, according to an Oswego Police report. She was given a July 9 court date.
