Women Con Man With Fake Bar of Gold: Police

Jorge Servin, 45, of 240 Fox Chase Drive North, was charged with DUI at about 12:20 a.m. June 21 in the 4000 block of Route 71, according to an Oswego Police report. He was given a July 8 court date.
Window shot out
A resident in the 0-99 block of Hampton Road, Oswego Township, reported to Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies that someone shot out a window of his home with a BB gun at about 5:20 p.m. June 21. There are no suspects in the incident.
Oswego Police are investigating a burglary to a construction trailer sometime before 4:20 p.m. June 20 while it was parked at Route 71 and Main Street. According to police, the value of the items taken is about $2,500.
A 22-year-old Oswego woman, who lives in the 400 block of Treasure Drive, reported to Oswego Police that someone broke into her car sometime before 10:30 a.m. June 20. Items taken valued about $50, police said.
A 41-year-old Oswego man, who lives in the 600 block of Avon Court, reported to Oswego Police that someone broke into his car sometime before 9:15 a.m. June 20. Items taken valued about $1,000 police said.
Scott Proce, 46, of 361 Essex Ave., Oswego, was charged with DUI, improper lane usage and improper lighting at about 11:15 p.m. near Orchard Road and Lewis Street, according to an Oswego Police report. He was given a July 21 court date.
Oswego Police responded to Walmart at about 1:27 a.m. June 19 for a report of a theft of items valued at about $1,200 sometime the previous day. The incident is under investigation, police said.
Oswego Police responded to a report of graffiti being painted at Barnaby Park sometime before 8 a.m. June 19. There are no suspects at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.
Kurt Markley, 46, of the 0-99 block of Sherwick Road, was charged with domestic battery at about 12:35 a.m. June 18 at his home, according to an Oswego Police report. He was taken to Kendall County Jail and given a July 18 court date.
Fake bar of gold sold
Oswego Police are investigating a case of two females selling a fake bar of gold to a 22-year-old Aurora man at about 1 p.m. June 17 in the 500 block of Fifth Street. According to police, the women sold the fake gold to the man for $1,000. Anyone with information in this case should call the Oswego Police at 630-551-7300.
Sexual abuse investigation
Oswego Police are investigating a case of a woman in the 2000 block of Farmington Lakes Drive saying she was the victim of criminal sexual abuse. The report was taken at 3:30 p.m. June 17 and the incident was to have occurred three days prior at about 3:30 a.m. Oswego Police said they continue to investigate the case, and that the incident was not a random incident.
Mercedes Pokorny, 22, of 327 Springbrook Trail South, Oswego, was charged with two counts of domestic battery at about 11:20 p.m. June 16 at her home, Oswego Police said. She was taken to the Kendall County jail and given a July 23 court date.
