Woman Kicks Officer, Now Facing Several Charges: Police

Trevan Troxwell, 18, of Montgomery, was charged with possession of marijuana at about 7:50 p.m. June 15 in the 400 block of Waubonsee Circle, according to an Oswego Police report. During the same arrest, a 16-year-old boy was also charged with marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Domestic battery, possession
Trevante Dardon, 21, of Aurora, was charged with domestic battery, possession of marijuaana and on a failure to appear warrant at about 2:30 a.m. June 14 near Route 34 and Ogden Falls Boulevard, according to an Oswego Police report. He was taken to Kendall County Jail.
PrairieFest paraphernalia possession
Two 16-year-old boys were charged with drug paraphernalia possession at PrairieFest at about 5 p.m. June 14, according to Oswego Police.
Mitchell Haefner, 23, of 147 Rickard, in Oswego Township, ws charged with domestic battery at about 7 a.m. June 14 at his home, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office report. Haefner allegedly struck a family member, police said.
A 51-year-old Oswego man was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center for injuries he sustained after being struck on his motorcycle by a 66-year-old Boulder Hill man. According to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office report, the motorcyclist was traveling in the area of Boulder Hill Pass and Saugatuck Road at about 10:45 a.m. June 14 when Gary Bastian, of the 200 block of Boulder Hill Pass, failed to yield while making a left turn. Bastian was cited for failure to yield left turn, the sheriff’s office said.
Retail theft, possession
Uriel Cruz, 19, of Montgomery, was charged with retail theft, possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of alcohol at about 1 a.m. June 15 at Walmart, according to an Oswego Police report. He was given a July 1 court date.
Renea Selders, 34, of 140 Riverwood, Oswego, was charged with domestic battery, resisting a police officer and criminal damage to property at about 11:15 p.m. near Templeton Drive and Plainfield Road, according to an Oswego Police report. She was taken to the Kedndall County Jail.
DUI, squealing tires
John Roth, 53, of 800 Route 31, Oswego, was charged with DUI and squealing his tires at about 12:30 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Main Street, according to an Oswego Police report. He was given a July 8 court date.
Ross Wahlgren, 29, of Sandwich, was charged with DUI, improper lane usage and on a failure to appear warrant at about 11:15 p.m. June 12 at Route 31 and Light Road, according to an Oswego Police report. He was given a July 21 court date.
Joshua Stadel, 20, of Aurora, and Branden Wolf, 20, of Montgomery, were charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor at about 11:15 p.m. June 12 in the 100 block of Theodore, according to an Oswego Police report. Both were given July 21 court dates.
Too many passengers in the car
A three-car traffic accident at about 7 p.m. June 12 at Route 71 and Bell Court resulted in a juvenile being cited for having an unlawful amount of passengers in the vehicle, according to an Oswego Police report. The juvenile was also cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Two other juveniles were taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center for injuries sustained in the accident, police said.
Raccoon causes accident
An Oswego woman was uninjured after running into a construction site with her car at about 1:40 a.m. June 13 in the 200 block of Willington Way, according to an Oswego Police report. The report said the woman swerved her vehicle to avoid hitting a raccoon in the road and struck a construction site wood pile. Her vehicle sustained heavy damage in the accident, police said.
