A rainy Saturday evening forced this weekend's Oswego/Montgomery/Yorkville Relay for Life event from the outdoor track at OHS to the indoor field house.

But that didn't stop the event's 35 teams from pulling in an amazing $62,000 in the fight against cancer.
This year's top fundraising teams were Team OPC, which raised $7,315; Team Honor and Support, which raised $6,288; and Team We Are Hope and Friends, which brought in $3,261.

Individual fundraising leaders were Sue Bowen, $2,730; Rob Blodgett, $2,000.31; and Denise Dominici $1,955.

In all, 222 walkers participated in this year's Relay.
Corporate sponsors were Meijer, Rush-Copley Medical Center, The Families of Fox Chase Elementary, and Ron Westphal Chevy.
