Reward Offered for Info on Car Break-ins

Kendall County Crimestoppers will pay $1,000 to anyone with information about a rash of car break-ins on the west side of Boulder Hill Wednesday night and into Thursday.

Thieves targeted unlocked cars on Greenfield and Bereman roads, hitting at least seven vehicles. According to Kendall County Sheriff's deputies, mostly electronic items were stolen. 

The sheriff's office reminds all residents to lock their car doors at all times and store all valuables out of sight.

Anyone with information on this or other crimes is urged to call Kendall County Crime Stoppers at (630) 553-5999. Callers remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of the offenders.
