Community support continues for the Reyes/Rich family who lost everything in a house fire earlier this month.

Jersey Mike's of Oswego will host a fundraiser for the family from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, in which $1 from each sub sold with the attached flyer will be donated to the family with four children.

Kristin Rich said she has been overwhelmed by the amount of community support the family has received since an electrical fire all but destroyed their home off Route 31 May 8.

"It's been so incredible. We've received so much. It's hard to find a way to say thank you," Rich said.

In the wake of the fire some of the family's most immediate needs were clothing and toys for the children, who range in age from 7 to 12. Rich said they received so much clothing that some of it will have to be donated to other needy families.

The family is currently looking for a more permanent place to live and for furniture to outfit a new home.

To donate to the Jersey Mike's fundraiser, simply print out and fill in the sheet attached to this article and purchase one regularly priced sub on May 28.
