The Oswegoland Park District continues the tradition of the PrairieFest Medallion Hunt in 2014.
After the successful reintroduction of this event last year, PrairieFest organizers are excited to kick off the quest again this year. Enthusiasts in the area will scour the community for clues to discover the location of the Medallion.
Find it and win $250 and the one of a kind PrairieFest Medallion. Starting Friday, May 2, six weekly clues will be released, requiring different methods to solve. Code cracking, deduction, trivia and more will lead treasure hunters to different spots in the area. Combined, all six clues will solve the ultimate question – where is the PrairieFest Medallion?
Clues will be listed on: the PrairieFest Facebook page, prairiefest.com, at our facilities, and announced on WSPY 107.1 FM at 1:25pm. The winner will be the first person/team who brings the medallion to an Oswegoland Park District facility and will be announced on the PrairieFest Main Stage at Noon on Friday, June 13. The winning person/team must be able to identify the six secret locations of clues throughout the hunt in order to claim their prize!
This event is organized by the Oswegoland Park District with the generous support of festival donors, Jimmy and Joyce Frankino. For more information, contact Cori Veverka at email@example.com or call (630) 554-1010.
