It takes a village to host a community festival.  We need an army of volunteers for our PrairieFest, June 12-15!  In exchange for your time and effort, we have a great shirt and a good time waiting for you.

Be a part of this area’s Father’s Day tradition and have some fun as well.  Sign up with a friend or your community group.  We have opportunities for volunteers of all ages: Junior High students can help keep our grounds safe as a member of the grounds crew, High School and College age students are ideal for members of the parking crew, and friendly adults are always needed to help greet our festival guests or serve in our beer tents.

Want to be involved in more of the action?  Volunteer to help with the Sunday parade or the 5k PrairieFest run.  We have three-hour shifts available throughout the day from 8:30am-11:30pm.  All volunteers receive the 2014 Festival Volunteer t-shirt and students can earn service hour credit.

Check your calendars now! If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Christine Hartnett at or call 630-554-4445 with your availability and where you would like to help out!
