OHS Student Brendan Mittman will represent Illinois in the SkillsUSA national finals this summer.

Two Oswego High School students placed in the top three at the Illinois SkillsUSA state finals this past weekend.

In the Cabinetmaking contest, Thomas Carnaghi placed third and Brendan Mittman placed first.

This is the second year in a row that Mittman has won the contest and the third year in a row for Oswego High School students to have won.

Mittman will now travel to Kansas City this summer to represent our state in the SkillsUSA National contest where last year he placed second in the nation.

Special thanks to OHS Woodworking Instructor Brian Allen for submitting this article and photos.
