The village of Oswego released its 2013 annual report Monday afternoon. Here’s a breakdown of some of the more interesting numbers.

23,087 Calls received by the Oswego Police Department

$316 Average annual amount saved by residents due to the villages electric aggregation program

$3 million Projected cost to be spent by South Korean dairy manufacturer Win Soon Inc. to build a 20,000-square-foot addition at 190 Kendall Point Drive to house its second American  manufacturing plant.

51 Percent of retail sales in Oswego made by nonresidents

$3.7 million Amount of retail sales tax collected from nonresidents in 2013

232 Total new housing starts in 2013. Only Elgin, Naperville and St. John, Ind. issued more housing permits than Oswego in the Chicago area in 2013.
