Oswego Area St. Baldrick's Events Set for March

If you’re looking for ways to help fight childhood cancer, there are certainly plenty of opportunities to get involved.
The Oswego area will be home to several Saint Baldrick’s events, in which participants shave their heads in exchange for donations. Here’s a roundup of local events and links to event pages to help make donating locally as simple as a few keyboard clicks.
- Firehouse Pizza & Pub in association with Julius Ismael Salon will host a shaving event at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 16. The event will feature Irish music, drinks, food and green beer. Find more information on the event’s web page.
- The Tap House Grill will host its second annual event March 16, as well. No time has been listed, but click here to find more information on the event.
- Murphy Junior High School also is hosting a St. Baldrick’s fundraiser from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Friday, March 14. Find more information on that event here. In conjunction the school is organizing a dodgeball tournament fundraiser set for March 8. Registration is open until Feb. 28. Find more information about the tournament here.
